Mud, Sweat & Pain - A Costa Rican Cocktail
For Back to the Earth Group's first feature length adventure film, we traveled to Costa Rica in 2001 to cover this grueling adventure mountain bike race. What is often deemed the world's toughest mountain bike race, La Ruta begins on the Pacific coast and leads racers across the mountainous country to the Caribbean in three grueling days. Top competitors from around the world look to challenge the unbeaten locals, including the U.S.'s Tinker Juarez.

Join us as we explore the stories of three skiers and their adventures to fill their soul with deep happiness found on the snow. This film is about passion and the quest for the filmmakers desire to capture passion and its power to shape lives. In current production.

  Defining Psychosis On Two Wheels
In 2001 Back to the Earth produced a film capturing the attempt by Tinker Juarez to capture the podium at La Ruta de Los Conquistadores. After watching this heralded American mountain bike racer fail to dethrone the local pros, Back to the Earth decided to travel back to Costa Rica to find the soul of this unique and punishing race. In a race where only half the field finishes we needed to find the answer to only one question, "For Gods sakes... WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS???!!!" In current production.
